Columbia Country Club | Columbia, Missouri

Updated: Feb 15

The Columbia Country Club first set its roots in 1921 as a 9-hole golf course. Now this country club not only has an 18-hole golf course, but it also doubles as a charming wedding venue for couples looking to end the night immersed in the grandeur of a modern century ball.

The Columbia Country Club has four facilities available for rental: the Elegant Grand Ballroom, the Event Lawn, the McAlester Room, and their Veranda. The former two are perfect for a large-scale ceremony and reception, while the latter two are better suited for intimate ceremonies. Beyond a doubt, though, any of the four are sure to make your heart flutter on your big day.

The Elegant Grand Ballroom is chandelier lit, features a couple fireplaces, and can seat up to 250 people. It also includes a built-in dance floor and bar area.

The Event Lawn is the most open to personalization out of the four. Want a night under the stars? You got it. Want string lights under a large tent for a warm cozy feeling instead? That’s possible too. This setting is perfect for a ceremony and can seat more than 300 people. It can face the golf course or the stone lettering with the country club logo.

The Veranda has a magnificent outdoor view of the Columbia Country Club grounds/greenery and can seat up to 100 people. It’s a great setting for an intimate outdoor ceremony. String lights can also be put up for a beautiful nightly glow.

The McAlester Room is great for rehearsal dinners, seating 75 people comfortably.

The CCC also offers a spacious bridal suite and groomsmen lounge for the picture perfect place to get ready.

If you are booking for a Saturday or Holiday weekend, pricing starts at $3,000 (with a $5,000 Food & Beverage minimum).

For Friday or Sunday, pricing starts at $2,500 (with $3,500 Food & Beverage minimum).

There are various rental additions, such as the outdoor ceremony ($250) or indoor ceremony ($500). For a complete list please check out this helpful pamphlet also linked on their website.

Devin Weindel is the director of special events at CCC, and she is a very fun person to know. You can contact her at devin@columbiacc.net with any further questions.
