With only their closest friends and family in attendance, Dillon and Thu said “I Do” at the Tiger Hotel in Columbia Missouri on June 22nd, 2022. Everything from the dress to the cake was thoughtfully planned and made for the sweetest wedding.
Dillon and Thu did not have a wedding party, but, with an intimate wedding, every guest had so much importance to the couple. When they were asked what was most important to them on their wedding day, they said it was the first looks and family photos, which are both such precious memories.
The wedding day was full of smiles and laughs. While on the rooftop for portraits, you could feel the happiness that radiated from Dillon and Thu. Both of them were absolutely beaming, and you could feel the love between the two of them, even in the “goofy” pictures (which are my personal favorites).
The rooftop is also where Dillon and Thu exchanged their private vows. It looked like it was out of a movie with the sun setting behind them, and promising their love to each other forever. How freaking romantic!
Can we get some commotion for the dress? Thu’s dress was a stunning a-line with long sleeves, an open back, and a beautiful floral lace all over. Dillon wore a black suit with a bow tie (I love a good bow tie!) He looked so handsome and complimented his new wife very well.
Dillon told Lily that “This day has to be perfect for Thu!” and I think it definitely was. The details and intimacy of this wedding were a dream: gifts and place cards for every guest, Thu’s dad as the officiant, the sweetheart table during the reception, and the rooftop private vow exchange… It was perfect!
