Outstanding wedding photographer!

Lily worked proactively with us to create a plan to capture all of our important moments and family photos. She communicated transparently on pricing and her rates were reasonable. On the day, she curated amazing vibes while directing our friends and families through all the formal photos we wanted. She gave us creative prompts which led to photos we will treasure for the rest of our lives. She got all the important moments of our ceremony and reception which we asked for, and found lots of smaller details which tell the story of our wedding beautifully.

We were rather picky about our photographer because my now-husband is an amateur photographer himself. It was not easy finding a photographer at an affordable price point who could live up to his standards, but Lily truly delivered! When you reach out to Lily, she sets up a video call to meet the couple with the goal of making sure that we’re a good fit for each other. You don’t want an artist who isn’t enthusiastic about your project, so it’s great that Lily makes sure she is as excited for your wedding as you are to ensure a great result. Her personality is contagiously bright and cheerful that the first meeting set us at ease right away.  She communicates in the time leading up to your wedding via her portal. She sends wedding tips, reminders about shot lists and also a few follow up questionnaires to help her get to know the couple. She was helpful in getting the shot list together and on the day of the wedding, she was extremely vigilant in making sure we got all the group shots we wanted. Most importantly, Lily was able to capture so much emotion in our photographs. She caught some beautiful candid shots, and she also came with some little games to help everyone shake off any awkwardness. She used these for couple and wedding party shots so they weren’t posed or forced. It seems kind of silly, but it was the perfect way to get us all laughing and get more natural looks from all of us. My sister-in-law is an event planner so she has seen a lot of event photos from a variety of photographers and she was so impressed by Lily’s ability to capture emotion. There are so many fantastic photos of my husband and I that choosing what to print will be a nightmare, in the best possible way. I honestly can’t recommend Lily enough to you!

She was on top of everything and we knew we could trust her to ensure all the important photos were taken and things went smoothly. She captured such beautiful photos of our day, including great pictures of our guests having a wonderful time and romantic portraits of me and my spouse. She also was willing to help out with little things like gluing butterflies to my shoes (very important!) Choosing a photographer for our wedding felt like a daunting task, but as soon as I looked through Lily's gallery of photos, I fell in love with how she captured moments, rather than just posed people for her photos.
